ROSSELLO Abogados Publishes Chapter on Public-Private Partnerships in Peru in The Public-Private Partnership Law Review

ROSSELLO Abogados is part of the select group of authors included in the second issue of The Public Partner Private Law Review, a prestigious publication edited by Great Britain’s Law Business Research Ltd.

The chapter on Peru was written by Miguel Sánchez Moreno and Pierre Nalvarte, who – together with experts from other 20 countries – have consolidated their comments and opinions in what has become an international guide to learn the anatomy of public-private partnerships (PPPs).

“We believe that PPPs are a powerful tool for attracting investments and developing infrastructure and utilities projects in Peru; therefore, there is an urgent need to continue generating and exchanging information and experiences within and outside the country,” Dr. Miguel Sanchez Moreno, partner at Rosello Abogados, said.

Although various articles in legal journals make reference to PPPs and private investment initiatives, The Public Partner Private Law Review detected the need for more in-depth knowledge about the specific characteristics of this investment mechanism in various countries and gathered expert professional opinions on the subject. The object is to assist specialists in identifying opportunities and exploring strategic solutions, based on an understanding of the options existing in foreign jurisdictions, many of which differ from the local environment.
