ROSSELLÓ Attorneys at Law strengthens their "China Desk" in Peru to serve Chinese investors

Lima, Perú. The interest of Chinese investors in Peru and the need to understand a legal system so different from ours, has caused a need for legal services intended specifically for this type of investors. In that sense, ROSSELLÓ Attorneys at Law has announced the reinstatement of Claudia Martinez, to lead and strength the China Desk, a personal service focus on Chinese clients.

Claudia Martínez, who was appointed Young Sinologist (expert in Chinese culture) by the Chinese Government, returns to Peru after spending a year specializing on Chinese investment and cooperation in developing countries, as well as working in the DeHeng Law Offices (the fourth largest Law Firm in China).

Additionally, Claudia Martínez has been appointed as representative in Peru and liaison person of CETC Think Tank Consulting Co. Ltd., Association of Chinese enterprises with more than 3000 members.

Nearly three years ago, ROSSELLÓ Attorneys at Law, created the “China Desk”, a personalized service for its Peruvians clients seeking to invest in China and its Chinese clients seeking to invest in Peru. Since then, it has been working with the largest and most important Chinese companies on issues such as Government Procurement, infrastructure projects, Telecommunications, Mining, etc.

Claudia Martínez is a lawyer graduated with honors from the University Catholic of Santa Maria in Arequipa, Peru. She has studied language and culture China at Guangxi Normal University in Guilin, China. She has a Master in Chinese Investment and Cooperation at the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing China, a Master's degree in law and globalization by the University of Maastricht, Netherlands. Also, she has a specialization in Chinese law by the school of law of the European Union and China and the China University of Political Sciences and Law.
